Towards Green Transition

The Portuguese Textile Cluster is part of the consortium of the initiative 'Towards Green Transition' Facility (https://clustercollaboration.eu/in-focus/green/towards-green-transition-facility) promoted by the European Cluster Collaboration Platform (ECCP).

This initiative involving the Textile Cluster (PT), AEI Tèxtils (ES), ATEVAL (ES), CS-POINTEX (IT) and TECHTERA (FR) has as main objective the development of a methodology to support textile SMEs in greening their processes and in making an informed choice of materials with the most adequate sustainability credentials.

The activities will be developed between June and September 2021 and consist essentially in the support of an expert in the development of the methodology, in the realization of a pilot to test the methodology developed, with 5 member companies of each of the clusters involved in this initiative and also the realization of a webinar with these companies.

It is intended that at the end of this initiative the developed methodology will be available to all members of the Textile Cluster and will be useful in their path towards the green transition.
